Established in 1980

John & Valerie Schweitzer purchased a small bulk plant with one truck in Columbus, WI with a $100,000 loan from the bank at a time when interest rates were at 21%. The bulk plant came with a contract to sell Mobil fuels and Mobil packaged lubricants. The Schweitzer household’s kitchen table became the Corey Oil office.

1986

Traded the City of Columbus bulk plant facility for a closed down gas station in Columbus. Installed a bulk plant rack so the truck could pull product from the underground tanks.

1996

Built the unattended fueling station in North Lake, WI.

2000

Traded Wisconsin Petroleum the Corey Oil gas station/bulk plant in Columbus, WI for the Wisconsin Petroleum warehouse & bulk plant in Beaver Dam, WI. Received the Wisconsin Petroleum fuel & lubricants routes.

 

Signed a contract with Mystik lubricants to market their oils.

 

Purchased Beaver Dam fuel route.

2004

Purchased more property on HWY 83 & Kilbourne Road in North Lake, WI to build a new office and warehouse.

2016

Built an Antifreeze Blending Plant and began distributing ThermaCool branded antifreeze.

 

Signed a contract with ENEOS lubricants to distribute ENEOS oils in Wisconsin.

2019

Purchased Midway Oil truck route & bulk plant in Baraboo, WI.

2022

Joined ASTM to help improve our testing procedures.

Purchased Scully Oil fuel truck route in Lyndon Station, WI.

1988

Purchased the North Lake Post Office building which allowed Corey Oil to have its first office not in a home.

Built the first warehouse in North Lake, WI, which was 5,000 sq. ft.

1998

Purchased Brown Lumber’s 16,000 sq. ft. warehouse for more lubricants storage.

Purchased Randolph Oil truck route in Randolph, WI.

2001

Purchased Wegner Oil fuel truck route in Lebanon, WI

 

Purchased the Union 76 Wisconsin lubricant route from Bell Fuels in Chicago, IL.

2005

Built a 4,000 sq. ft. office & 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse in North Lake, WI.

2017

Signed a contract with Castrol to distribute Castrol Passenger Car & Heavy-Duty lubricants.

2020

Moved operations to new headquarters in the renovated former Zien Packaging facility in Oconomowoc, WI.

Signed a contract with Castrol to distribute Castrol Industrial lubricants.

Purchased Perkins Sales from John Perkins and changed the company’s name to Corey Automotive Solutions.

1995

Purchased land on Kilbourne Avenue in North Lake, WI as well as a bulk plant for fuel delivery in the Waukesha County area.

Purchased Clyman Oil fuel truck route in Clyman, WI.

1999

Purchased Frey Oil truck route in Horicon, WI.

2003

Purchased O’Rourke Distributing,  a bulk CITGO lubricant marketer in Waukesha, WI.

2011

Signed a contract with Renegade Race Fuels to become the Master Distributor in Wisconsin.

2018

Signed a contract to sell Chemtool industrial fluids & lubricants.

 

Corey Oil purchased Zien Packaging’s 55,000 sq. ft. facility.

2021

Began to bring in Diesel Exhaust Fluid utilizing Canadian Pacific Railway.
